As the aging population accelerates, China is losing its demographic dividend, increasing the need for "machine substitution" in agriculture and "high-value utilization of agricultural materials." Globally, countries are focusing on agricultural engineering to tackle resource shortages, environmental degradation, ecological imbalance, and food safety. Promoting advanced agricultural engineering research, ensuring food security, effective supply of agricultural products, and sustainable development are major global challenges.

To enhance technical exchanges in agricultural engineering, improve China's technology development, and focus on research and frontier technology in agricultural robotics, mechanization, new materials, and biomass utilization, Huazhong Agricultural University will host the 2025 International Symposium on Advanced Technology of Agricultural Engineering from July 4 to 6, 2025, in Wuhan, Hubei. This symposium aims to promote academic exchanges and cooperation, explore the latest progress, and discuss future directions in agricultural engineering technology.
